Training ”Client-oriented counseling in the field of mother and child health protection”
During April-May in the framework of Component 1 of Ukrainian-Swiss Mother and Child Health Programme trainings are held for training specialists from p³lot rayons on providing of consultation services on the issues of mother and child health on the base of client-oriented approach. Two trainings were held in regions: in Ivano-Frankivs’ka oblast (22-24 of April) and Volins’ka oblast (26-28 of April). Total number of specialists, who began training are 55 (gynaecologists, midwifes, nurses, social workers). Two trainings are planned on May – in Vinnits’ka oblast (17-19 of May) and Crimea (20-22 of May).
During the trainings participants are taught the main tasks of the client-oriented approach; develop their skills in listening, questioning, providing information to the clients. The second stage of trainings is planned for July 2010.
